Chess Mirror sets no cookies. It does keep information in your browser's own storage, so your games and progress stay on your device. Nothing here is used for advertising or to follow you across other sites.

The saved copy of the app
The installable web version keeps a copy of the app in your browser (a "service worker" and its cache) so it can open with no connection. It checks for a newer version when you are online and asks before switching to it. It handles only requests to the app's own address: it never touches chess.com, Lichess, our server or Paddle. To remove it, uninstall the app or clear this site's data in your browser's settings. "Delete everything on this device" removes your data, not the app's own code.
Clearing it
"Delete everything on this device" in Privacy and your data removes all of the above in one step. You can also clear site data in your browser's settings. Your cloud account, if you have one, is not affected: delete it from the Sync screen.
